The Gantt allows for the baseline of the project to be viewed alongside the current Timeline.
The baseline is selected in the Gantt settings modal:
The baseline schedule is displayed by a brown timeline in the Gantt.
A tooltip provides further information as to the degree of deviation between the Baseline and the current schedule.
Note: The baselines taken at a program level may be different from those taken at a project level. When viewing the Gantt at a program level, if a sub-project does not include the selected baseline, no baseline information for that project will be shown.
Display deviation from baseline as a column in the Gantt
Four baseline related columns are available for display in the Gantt:
- Baseline Start Date
- Baseline Finish Date
- Deviation from Baseline Start
- Deviation from Baseline Finish
These columns display the dates from the selected baseline along with the deviation (in days) from the current task dates.
Note: The deviation for baseline is in working days unless the task is in elapsed duration in which case deviation is in days.
