Status Date

Modified on Tue, 12 Nov, 2024 at 3:21 PM

The button is tool-tipped with the most recently set status date (if any).

Clicking the Status Date button displays the status date modal.

Enter a Status Date and, optionally select ‘Propagate to sub-projects’, if you want to apply the status date to the current project and all sub-projects.

On clicking OK, no tasks will be updated but all tasks will be checked to see if they are late.

A task is defined as late if its start date is in the past and its status is Not Started (i.e., percentage complete is zero).

Any late tasks will display a late task icon in the info column:

Setting the start date of the task to a date after the status date will clear the late task icon from the task.

If ‘Move tasks not started before the status date to start after the status date’ is checked, then any not started tasks will have their start date changed to the next working day after the Status Date.
