My Workflow Approvals

The workflow approvals widget on the “My Dashboard” provides you with a single place for all workflow items requiring your attention.


Open up My Dashboard by selecting the “Home” icon at the top left of the vertical bar or via the “Dashboards” drop-down.


To enable the My Workflow Approvals widget, click the settings cog at the top right of the dashboard.


This opens the “Manage Widgets” pane.

  • Select “My Workflow Approvals”


  • Click SAVE.

The “My Workflow Approvals” widget will show on your dashboard


At the top right of the Widget you will see the settings cog, expand widget and ellipsis:


  • Click on the cog to open the “My Workflow Approvals Settings” pane.


  • Select the workflow(s) you want to view.


You can filter by a particular workflow process to view approvals outstanding.

  • Select the Status


Apply date filters by clicking the calendar icon to open the calendar.  Add dates to:-


  • Do not show anything Approved before
  • Do not show anything Rejected before


  • Click into the “Chart Type” field


  • Select the chart type from the drop-down menu.


  • Click SAVE to capture the content you want to display on the Widget.


When you expand the widget in the dashboard using the fullscreen icon, it opens the full screen which shows the summarised data of the individual entries.



To view and approve or reject a workflow item, click on the  icon. This opens the following pane, where you can SAVE, REJECT or APPROVE the workflow:


  • Click APPROVE 

This opens the following pane where you need to confirm or cancel the approval.



Note: The Approval step can be different for each workflow and depends if the workflow administrator has configured “Re-Authentication” as part of that specific workflow step. In which case the following approval pane will open:


You can approve or reject multiple workflow items:

  • Check the boxes on the left-hand side of the pane and click “Approve” or “Reject”.


  • Click APPROVE or REJECT. This opens the following confirmation pane where you can continue or cancel.


 

Note: As previously mentioned above, the Approval step can be different for each workflow and depends if the workflow administrator has configured “Re-Authentication” as part of that specific workflow step.


You will be able to see the status of your entries in the widget table.



To sort the status of the workflow approvals you can click into the graphic.   


In the following example we click on the green area of the donut. This displays the “Approved” entry in the table.
