Cut and Copy Tasks

You can Cut or Copy tasks to move them around the WBS as the project progresses.


To paste the cut or copied task(s), right click and select “Paste task(s) (before the current one)” or “Paste Task(s) with Options”.


Cut Tasks

Right click the task you wish to cut

When a task is cut, its text changes to italics as shown above.


If you wish to move the task elsewhere, select the task where it should fall under/over.

If you choose “Paste Task(s) with Options”, you have the option to edit durations/priorities or leave as default.


  • Make your selection(s) and decide where you wish to place the task in the WBS.



Copy Tasks

Right click the task you wish to copy


When a task is copied, its text changes to italics as shown on the right. 


If you wish to move the task elsewhere, select the task where it should fall above/below.

If you choose “Paste Task(s) with Options”, you can edit durations/priorities or leave as default.


  • Make your selection(s) and decide where you wish to place the task in the WBS.


Multi-Copy Tasks

Cora allows the user to select more than one task at a time to copy.


  • Use the Shift Key and select the number of tasks you wish to copy.
  • The tasks you wish to copy will have a border.
  • Select Copy Task(s)


If you wish to move the tasks elsewhere, select the task where they should fall above/below.

If you choose “Paste Task(s) with Options”, you can edit durations/priorities or leave as default.

  • Make your selection(s) and decide where you wish to place the tasks in the WBS.
