You may Cut or Copy tasks to move them around the Gantt as the project progresses.
- Right click and select “Paste task(s) (before the current one)” or “Paste Task(s) with Options”
Cut Task
Right select the task you wish to cut
When a task is cut, its text changes to italics as shown on the right.
- If you wish to move the task elsewhere, select the task where it should fall under/over.
- If you choose “Paste Task(s) with Options”, you have the option to edit durations/priorities or leave as default.
- Make your selection(s) and decide where you wish to place the task.
Copy Task
Right select the task you wish to copy.
When a task is copied, its text changes to italics as shown on the right.
- If you wish to move the task elsewhere, select the task where it should fall above/below.
- If you choose “Paste Task(s) with Options”, the user has the option to edit durations/priorities or leave as default.
- Make your selection(s) and decide where you wish to place the task.
Multi-Copy Option
Cora allows the user to select more than one task at a time to copy.
- Use the Shift Key and select the number of tasks you wish to copy.
- The tasks you wish to copy will be highlighted in blue.
- Select Copy Task(s).
- If you wish to move the tasks elsewhere, select the task where they should fall above/below.
- If you choose “Paste Task(s) with Options”, the user has the option to edit durations/priorities or leave as default.
- Make your selection(s) and decide where you wish to place the tasks.
