Saving Reports

When you have built a report, you can save the report as a template for future use.

Enter a name for your report in the Report Name field

Click SAVE

Note:  The saved report is only available to you.  However, if you want other users to have access to the report you can ask your System Administrator to publish the report.  Reports that have been published to all users will have “System” after the report name in the drop- down.

Note:  Saving a report only saves the selection criteria, not the output of the report.  If you need to capture the out- put of a report, you need to export it.

At the top of the screen under reports, you will see your saved report and any report templates in the drop-down list, some of which are system wide.

Note: The administrator can also make report templates system wide and available for other users.  This helps save time as other users do not need to rebuild the report each time.

 Retrieving Reports

At the top of the screen under reports, you can see saved reports and report templates in the drop-down list, some of which are system wide.

Click on the Report Name in the Report View.

Filter out which projects are used in the report by the type, stage, status and other parameters.

Click RUN to run your report.

Note:  If you have retrieved a saved report and made changes to the selection criteria you can click SAVE to save your changes.

Note:  You can only update your own reports, not system reports.

Deleting Reports

If you don't need a report anymore, click the DELETE button at the bottom of the screen to delete it.

Note:  You can only delete your own reports, not system reports.
