The “Widgets View” displays the same Dashboard Widgets as outlined in the documents “My Dashboard”, Project Dashboard and Programme Dashboard”. The widgets behave and interact in exactly the same way. The functionality is identical and there are no differences on how the widgets’ display on this dashboard, similar to the “Project Dashboard” or “Programme Dashboard”.
Manage widgets by clicking on the “MANAGE WIDGETS” tab.
This opens the Manage Widgets pane where you can select/de-select the widgets you want to view on your dashboard.
Click SAVE to confirm your selection.
When you choose the Widgets you want to show on the dashboard, click “SAVE VIEW” for them to be stored.
This will save the layout configuration of your dashboard view.
Note: The Portfolio Dashboard view does not automatically save. Before navigating away from the view, always make sure to click “Save View”.
Save View
TO save the current view, select Save View
This opens the following pane:
Enter a name for the dashboard view you want to save in the “View Name” box
Check the “Shared View box if you want to share the dashboard view with other users.
Click SAVE
Your view is saved and displayed in the dropdown list.
Update the view with the same name, or use a new name to save a new variation of the view.
The saved views can be accessed from the drop-down list:
Select a View from the “View” drop-down list and the View will refresh.
Manage View
Views are managed in the “View” drop-down. You can select a different view, reset the current view and manage views:
The Manage Views options allows you to select which views you see on the menu.
Click Manage Views to open the following pane:
- Remove your own views or shared views from the View menu.
- Delete your own views
- Delete shared views that you have created
- Click APPLY to confirm your changes
Reset View
The Reset View option discards any unsaved changes to the current view and reloads the view as it was the last time it was saved.
Filters
The Portfolio Dashboard gives an overview of all the programmes and projects in the system using the filters at the top of the screen.
The main filters are:
- Strategies
- Regions
- Project Stage
- Project Type
- Project Status
- Projects
Note: Widgets available are dependent on customer configuration.
The filters allow you to tailor the view to a concise set of projects or all the projects across all the Portfolios.
By using the drop-down menus on each filter, you can “Check All”, select an individual option or several options, or alternatively type in the search bar the name of the item you are looking for.
