Portfolio Dashboard Filters - Organisations and Strategies

Strategies

The Strategies filter allows you to filter by strategy.  You can view any projects linked to the organisations and strategies by selecting the options relevant to your search.

In the following full view of the Portfolio Dashboard, you can see that there are 182 Projects and 39 Milestones.

To compile the list of projects you want to view:-

Click on the drop-down arrow in the “Strategies” filter to open the drop-down menu.  

You can “Check All” or choose the specific strategies you want to look at.  In the following example we will look at the “Growth, Stability and Renewal” strategies.

The Dashboard widgets update and display only the projects associated with the “Growth, Stability and Renewal” strategies.  This behaviour is consistent across all the filters.

To further tailor the information you want to view, go to the next filter: “Organisations”.

Organisations

Click on the drop-down arrow in the “Regions” filter to open the drop-down menu.  You can “Check All” or choose the specific organisations you want to look at.   In the following example we will look at the “Internal Departments:

With the further filters applied the Dashboard widgets update and display the projects associated with the ““Growth, Stability and Renewal” strategies and the “Internal Departments”.  

In our example we have 9 Projects and 28 Milestones.

To further tailor the information you want to view, you can filter by “Project Stage”.
